Welcome to the official website of the Excelsior Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Tennessee Jurisdiction, Prince Hall Affiliation. We are the Adoptive Rite of the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Tennessee, where the Honorable Bro. L. Lamont Banks serves as our 17th Most Worshipful Grand Master.

I greet you as the 31st Grand Worthy Matron of this wonderful organization. “Beyond All Limits”, I promise to do my best to uphold our landmarks and to promote and exemplify the heroic virtues of the beautiful heroines (Adah, Ruth, Esther, Martha, and Electa) who represent the foundation of our order.

As we continue to evolve, I look forward to participating in more fellowship events with you, my sisters and brothers. So, to that end, I wish you grace, mercy, peace, and kindness as we travel this journey in our attempt to make this world a better place for all.

Excelsior Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, Tennessee Jurisdiction, Prince Hall Affiliation, was incorporated August 31, 1881 and has been involved, over the years, in the dissemination of light and knowledge of the beautiful Order of the Eastern Star.

As Members of the Order of the Eastern Star, our purposes are the cultivation of charitable works and fraternal practices to comfort, protect, and aid each other through life’s journey. We follow the beacon of truth, charity, and loving kindness. It is our belief that this fraternal Order is one of the most viable organizations in present society.
