EXCELSIOR LEARNING INSTITUTE
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Excelsior Learning Institute (O.E.S University) is to equip the members of Excelsior Grand Chapter with the tools necessary to navigate their masonic journey with knowledge and zeal. Further, to inspire every member to actively participate in the initiatives, customs, traditions, solemn ceremonies, annual communication, visitation and other activities hosted by the Grand Chapter and the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge of Tennessee.
MISSION:
The mission of the Excelsior Learning Institute (O.E.S University) is an unaccredited University that offers a modern and alternative way of dispensing esoteric and exoteric information related to the Order of the Eastern Star. It is our mission to restore the art of deep thought and introduce a curriculum and programs that will create a structured process of learning the ritualistic ceremonies, administrative workings and constitutional laws.

I believe in the supreme architect of the universe.
The true and living God. It is God who gives me the
strength and desire to obtain knowledge.
I believe that it is God and God alone
that holds tomorrow.
My mind is open to learn the ceremonies,
customs, traditions, history, esoteric and exoteric workings
of Excelsior Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star,
Tennessee Jurisdiction, Prince Hall Affiliation.
I will depend on wisdom from God, the ritual,
Bylaws and Constitution that governs this body
to aid in my decision making. I will actively engage
and participate in the teachings of this university
to strengthen my knowledge of the Order of the Eastern Star,
Prince Hall Affiliation in the Jurisdiction of Tennessee.
I will willingly aid and assist any fellow member of the Order
of the Eastern Star in the Jurisdiction of Tennessee,
Prince Hall Affiliation should I be called upon to do so.
